On Sunday, May 6th, the Literacy Run/Walk raised more than $26,000 for Literacy Volunteers of Rensselaer County. These vital funds support literacy programs for adults and families in Rensselaer County.

This annual event would not be possible without the help of dozens of volunteers. From Emily Cheng who designed this year’s t-shirts, to Dan Fennell who picked up and delivered the traffic cones, to Shay Harrison who made sure every last item came back to the LVORC office, to everyone who helped to keep the runners safe and hydrated, each and every volunteer made a big difference. To all of our volunteers, we say thank you!
