Call for Tutors: Spectrum News 1 Helps LVORC Put Spotlight on Need for Volunteers

by lvorc on December 29, 2022

Tutor Francine Lynch and learner Eisa Masouleh are featured in the Spectrum News segment that first aired on December 21. Journalist Jaclyn Cangro visited the LVORC office on the Sage College campus earlier this month to record interviews about the pressing need for volunteer tutors to help adult learners in Rensselaer County and Albany County. The story has been posted to the Spectrum News website.

The next Tutor Training Workshop will begin on Saturday, January 21 at the Albany Public Library. To find out more about being a tutor and many other ways to help, please join us for a Volunteer Opportunities Information Session at 4:30 on January 5 OR 12:00 noon on January 10 via Zoom.
